PSYCHOLOGIST
(STUDENT SERVICE PROFESSIONAL/ACADEMIC-RELATED -LEVEL I, PART-TIME, TEMPORARY, 12-MONTH)

Effective Date: On or about October 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021
Salary Range: Salary commensurate with qualificaations, experience, and licensure
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA
accredited program or related mental health field
- Demonstrated ability to provide psychological services
(clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and brief psychotherapy)
to college students on personal/interpersonal issues, multicultural
issues, developmental/educational/career concerns and the full
range of mental health disorders
- Demonstrated ability to provide outreach and consultation to a
multicultural diverse college student population
- Licensed (i.e. Psychologist, LCSW, and/or LMFT) in the state of
California
- Demonstrated commitment in working with a diverse student
population
Preferred Qualifications: - Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an
APAaccredited program or related mental health field
- Generalist with a demonstrated commitment to working with a
diverse student population
- Completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship or an APPIC
internship, or advanced training in other mental health
area
- Demonstrated professional interest, expertise or experience in
working with Black, Latinx, Native American, Asian/Asian American,
LGBTQ, international, or first generation college
students
- Experiences in one more areas: group therapy; crisis
intervention and management; electronic health record system;
teletherapy
Duties: - Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and brief
psychotherapy to a diverse student population
- Provide outreach and consultation to the campus
community
- Other additional duties as assigned
- Engageinappropriate university service through participation in
campus committees and activities
