Opportunity Kent State University at Stark invites applications for a full-time Non-Tenure-Track, nine-month position as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Management, to begin August 2021. Duties include, but are not limited to, classroom and online teaching (including in one more of the following areas: decision-making, analytics, Six Sigma, ERP systems, data science, and global business), and other duties typically associated with a non-tenure track faculty member at an institution of higher education.
Minimum requirements: Master's Degree in Business or Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines (candidates with a doctoral degree will be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor); three years of related work experience within the past 10 years; and evidence of teaching excellence at the university level.
Advanced level expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, is required, as well as intermediate-level expertise with MS-Outlook, MS-Project, and Visio. Demonstrated experience in preparing students for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification examinations is also required.
