Assistant or Associate Professor of Kinesiology and Health Studies

Southeastern Louisiana University Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor available August 10, 2021.

Instructional responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in health sciences (e.g., epidemiology, research, program planning, worksite health, population health, health behavior, health curriculum & instruction, chronic disease prevention, and other topics). Additional expectations include academic advising, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing service to the department, college, university, and community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a doctorate degree specializing in Public Health, Health Sciences, or closely related field by hire date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to candidates with CHES certification, university teaching experience, distance education experience, and evidence of scholarly productivity.
