The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Instructor or tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in English (Rhetoric and Composition) to begin in August 2021 in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. 

Candidates will be expected to teach courses in rhetoric and composition at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Areas of expertise in technical and professional writing; science writing, including writing for health care and medical contexts; and/or digital writing desired. Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching expected. 

For appointment as Assistant Professor, a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or related field Ph.D. is required and prior college teaching experience is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered for the rank of non-tenure track full-time Instructor. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to student-centered education as well as scholarship and professional development.
