Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology invites applications for the position, Instructor of Industrial/Engineering Technology to begin August 2021. This position is responsible for teaching a variety of courses including, but not limited to Electrical Circuits, Electronics, Power Electronics, Industrial Electric Machinery Control, Power Transmission, Electro-Magnetics, Control and Automation, Robotics, PLC, and Pneumatics. Other duties include advising students, mentoring senior design projects, and participating in service activities at the Department, College, and University level.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university by hire date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in teaching Electrical courses at the undergraduate level.
Experience in ABET accreditation.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Commitment to teach undergraduate courses and supervise undergraduate senior projects.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic personality and collaborative spirit.
