Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Industrial and
Engineering Technology invites applications for the position,
Instructor of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment to begin
August 2021. This position is responsible for teaching a variety of
courses. Other duties include advising students, mentoring senior
design projects, and participating in service activities at the
Department, College, and University level.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and
Environment-related field from an accredited university by hire
date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional certification including, but not limited to Certified
Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist
(CIH).
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Commitment to teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate
level.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic
personality and collaborative spirit.
