Director of Compliance


Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Compliance. This position will assist the Associate Athletic Director of Compliance with all aspects of intercollegiate athletics compliance.



Duties include, but are not limited to:  maintaining ARMS software for all recruiting, competition, and practice logs, managing initial eligibility certification; overseeing the National Letter of Intent program;  managing book return process;  assisting in certification of eligibility; overseeing camps and clinics; assisting with rules education to include composition of monthly newsletters, and rules interpretations; managing compliance website and manual; liaison between athletic department and campus housing, admissions and university bookstore; assisting with submitting legislative waivers to the NCAA and investigating potential rules violations, all while ensuring institutional observance of University, Sun Belt Conference and NCAA legislation; and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience is required.   A master’s degree and previous compliance experience is preferred.  Involvement in employment at a Division I NCAA university. Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference rules and regulations. Experience with computer applications relative to athletics administration and management including NCAA software systems.
