Senior Admissions Counselor

The Senior Admissions Counselor is responsible for communicating the admission policies, procedures, and opportunities available at the university to students, parents and community college personnel. The employee will work with the Associate Director of Admissions to develop goals and execute strategies that drive application growth and support the goal of yielding qualified students throughout the enrollment process. The Senior Admissions counselor is not assigned to any travel territories but will travel if needed. He/she is responsible for final audits for all admissions decisions made by admissions counselors and will work with an assigned special population i.e. student-athletes, Nursing students, or readmit students.  The Senior Admissions Counselor will connect with prospective students by answering incoming phone calls, making outbound phone calls, and responding to emails and web inquiries with the objective of assisting the student through the enrollment process from application to enroll. The Senior Admissions Counselor will also have responsibilities for managing work study students, admissions counselor training, and campus event planning.
