Job Description

The position of Assistant Director of Compliance is a valuable member of the Compliance Team that assists with implementation and management of the university's comprehensive athletics compliance program, working directly with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, and will be responsible for helping to ensure and monitor compliance with NCAA, ACC, and Virginia Tech regulations for 22 Division I sports.

Required Qualifications

Master's and/or bachelor's degree with related experience in compliance operations.
Significant experience working with NCAA compliance regulations.
Proficiency with personal computer applications and comfortable with various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, BANNER, CAi, and LSDBi).
Experience with ARMS software program.
Be able to work in a team environment and be a self-motivated staff member.
Must be able to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the area of athletics compliance at an NCAA Division I Autonomy Five institution or Division I institution providing Cost of Attendance.
Experience with a broad range of NCAA Compliance Bylaws.
