Financial Analyst. This position plays a key role in developing the
University's annual operating and capital budget as well as,
monitoring the University's financial performance against the
budget. This position analyzes business performance and trend and
variance analysis in the context of financial planning, strategic
planning, and capital planning. Judgment and initiative are
exercised frequently in verbal and written communications and in
interpreting University-wide policies and procedures.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
and a minimum of three years' work experience in budget and/or
accounting. Must be proficient with financial analysis, modeling
and preparing operational/status reports. Higher education
experience is preferred. Must be able to support and promote the
