The individual will be responsible for daily operation, organization, administration, general effectiveness, and supervision of materials science and engineering technology programs, including but not limited to ABET accredited programs, as well as future program planning, development, and accreditation processes. Position will start as soon as feasible.

Minimum education and experience:  Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or related field; three (3) years teaching experience at the undergraduate level; knowledge of and participation in ABET accreditation processes; experience with curriculum development; and experience with course level, program level, and institution-wide assessment practices.

Minimum abilities and skills:  Developed supervisory and leadership skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop and implement teaching strategies that meet the educational needs of a diverse student body; sensitivity to expectations of students, faculty, staff, and advisory committee members; must possess a valid driver’s license; and commitment to and knowledge of vocational and technical education.
