Oregon Tech is seeking applications for a Student Involvement Coordinator in Department of SEP-Student Engagement Programs. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The mission of Student Involvement is to promote the holistic growth and development of Oregon Tech students through involvement and support. We strive to create a community where all feel a sense of belonging. Our department oversees all student club activities, leadership, community service, New Student Orientation, Diversity and Belonging programs, International Student Services, Student Government and other student-led programs. The successful applicant is responsible for the coordination and management of student involvement opportunities for current Oregon Tech students. The main areas of responsibility for this position include: providing general advising for Registered Student Organizations; advising Campus Activities Board; advising student media programs; coordinating leadership and community service activities; maintaining the Oregon Tech App; and supporting the operations and programming of Student Involvement & Belonging. The position falls within the Student Involvement & Belonging department which promotes a positive, inclusive community marked by student engagement. The Student Involvement Coordinator works collaboratively with various campus partners (e.g., Student Affairs teams, Diversity & Belonging, Portland-Metro Student Services, Career Services, etc.).


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two years working with student organizations, student leadership, community service, orientation programs, campus activities and/or diversity programs.


  • Experience in higher education institutions, event management, and/or driving student engagement through technology.
  • Ability to effectively and respectfully work, communicate, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.
