NYU Shanghai invites applications for part-time instructors to teach one or more courses in computer science and/or electrical engineering at the first-year graduate level. Courses would be taught on-site at the NYU Shanghai campus. In particular, we seek instructors for courses such as:

  • Data Structures and Algorithms

  • Machine Learning / AI / Deep Learning / Data Science

  • Big Data 

  • Embedded Systems

  • Digital Signal Processing

  • Networking 

  • Databases

  • Software Engineering

  • Computer Vision

Qualifications

We seek candidates who have (1) a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,  or a related field and (2) have teaching experience.

Applicants are responsible for obtaining and maintaining approvals, clearances and documentation to perform the services required by this part-time appointment, including but not limited to an ID/passport and work permits, as well as the permission from your current employer.
