Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, clinical assistant/associate professor of physical therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Responsibilities include teaching and active participation in scholarly activities, clinical activities, and professional service. Preference will be given to individuals with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and biomechanics expertise. Qualifications include completion of an academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) in physical therapy or a related discipline, doctoral students in the dissertation phased of their degree, or a DPT with board certification. Pennsylvania licensure eligibility is also required. Previous teaching experience and evidence of scholarship preferred.

The anticipated start date is August 2021. The physical therapy program is fully accredited and is currently housed in the newly constructed 60,000 sq ft Arnold Health Professions Pavilion which includes flexible classroom space with technologies that enhance teaching, a fully equipped human performance lab, a ten table gross anatomy lab, and a robust faculty office suite, and houses our student-run free physical therapy clinic. Nine full-time faculty members, supplemented by a number of adjunct instructors, are responsible for the instruction of the professional phase of the curriculum.
