A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking two COVID triage screeners on the Kirksville, Misouri, campus. The position reports to the Vice Dean, Academic Affairs. The COVID Triage Screener will be responsible for screening all employees, students, visitors, and vendors entering the IPE Building on a daily basis for illness and COVID symptoms while taking an attendance log and monitoring student compliance in the Simulation Clinic and Classrooms during after-hour and weekend sessions per CDC, university, and MOSDOH guidelines.

Major Job Duties

  • Open screening at 7:15 a.m., Monday – Friday, after-hour sessions 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:45 a.m. Saturday sessions and administer temperatures on all persons entering the building and take an attendance log
  • Screen, take an attendance log, and monitor student compliance in the Simulation Clinic, classrooms during after-hour and weekend sessions per CDC, university, and MOSDOH guidelines
  • Screen all employees, students, visitors, and vendors entering the IPE Building on a daily basis for illness and COVID symptoms
  • Record Temperature
  • Contact Vice Dean, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs for Liaison regarding students and HR regarding employees
  • Take an attendance log and monitor student compliance in the Simulation Clinic and Classrooms during after-hour and weekend sessions per CDC, university, MOSDOH guidelines
  • Receive and retrieve IPE Building packages
  • Monitor the after-hour Google sign up form
  • Assist with classroom setup
  • Complete MOSDOH compliance/report
  • Monitor PPE, disinfection supplies at the check-in desk and in classrooms
  • Contact security and/or facilities for monitoring as needed


Requirements

  • High school plus one year technical training or schooling required
  • Desire to work with and help students, staff, and faculty
  • Excellent time management and computer skills
  • Professional demeanor with students, vendors, staff, and faculty
  • Work well under high-pressure situations
  • Be able to lift light packages
