The Autism Diagnostic Center (ADC) in the Department of Communication Disorders, at New Mexico State University, is seeking a full-time college track faculty, Clinical Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary evaluation team for individuals referred for a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ADC is seeking to fill this position with a Clinical Psychologist eligible for licensure in New Mexico with advanced training and clinical experience in the diagnosis, consultation, and evidence-based treatment of ASD and related neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders.

Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology, from an APA-approved program and will have completed postdoctoral training in pediatric psychology prior to the start date. Applicants with at least one year of experience in an interdisciplinary ASD clinic and who are research reliable (ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R) are preferred, but not required.

The faculty member will work primarily full-time in the ADC, which serves children referred for evaluation. Primary responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments with ASD-specific measures and developing integrated service plans. Other responsibilities include behavioral consultation, community outreach, supervision of trainees, and support of research activities.
