Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in early childhood education with a focus on family and community. In addition, the position may include: (a) early childhood education course development and instruction in one or more of the following areas: introduction to early childhood development, assessment, curriculum and methodology, and collaborative service-delivery models, (b) developing and maintaining collaborative arrangements with local school systems, and (c) advising, mentoring, research, professional development, and service activities. This position must contribute to creating an environment that is multicultural, inclusive, trusting, respectful, and collegial. This position includes a nine-month academic year appointment, with opportunities for additional instruction during winterim (January) and summer terms. Duties may also include teaching courses and non-credit offerings on evenings, weekends, and/or off-campus settings.

Required Qualifications
-Earned doctorate (will consider ABD) in Early Childhood Education or related field
-Three (3) years of full-time successful teaching experience in public/private Pre-K-8 schools
-Experience teaching and study in young children and families
-Knowledge, experience, and evidence of success with diverse populations in a variety of
educations settings
- Knowledge of K-8 appropriate level learning and teaching technologies
-Experience in leadership roles and activities

Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate level
- Experience teaching graduate, adult learners and/or other professionals.
- Evidence of successful on-line teaching
- Evidence of collaborative partnerships with PK-12 schools (public or private)
- Evidence of research, scholarship, and service
