Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale
Schedule Information: Courses are offered online and in person during the day and evening.

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.
Job Description: The French program at Harper caters to both traditional and returning students and offers fall and spring courses. Courses are offered during the day, in the evening and online.
The instructor will teach introductory and/or intermediate French-language courses. Instructors are currently needed for the Spring 2020 semester. Successful candidates teach in an interactive and engaging way with the focus being on student communication in French.
Applicants should indicate their availability for this current semester in their cover letter.
Education Requirements: A Master's degree in French or a Master's in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in French.
Experience Requirements: College teaching experience and travel / study in countries where French is spoken is preferred.
