Gettysburg College is seeking a Sr. Assistant Director of Admissions/Coordinator of Admissions Alumni Volunteers to join a highly effective admissions team.  This position reports to the Dean of Admissions and manages the development and implementation of an alumni volunteer program in the admissions office. Responsibilities include alumni volunteer management; program development and implementation, and admissions recruitment duties such as admissions travel, territory management, interviewing prospective students, public speaking, data analysis and application review and selection. 

 

Position requirements are as follows:  a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of demonstrated experience working as a professional in college admissions, and a valid United States driver's license.  The successful candidate should have experience with volunteer management; excellent demonstrated abilities to communicate verbally and in writing; speak confidently in front of large groups; implement programs and organize activities and projects on time, and work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse group of people in a dynamic environment. Gettysburg College seeks candidates who have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues and community members.  Interest in creating an inclusive campus community and a strong commitment to the liberal arts college experience is expected.
