Oregon Tech is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering in the Electrical Eng & Renewable Energy Department. This is a 9-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Primary responsibilities will include teaching introductory and advanced digital systems courses. Candidates should be enthusiastic about curriculum innovation and student engagement. The successful candidate must have expertise in one or more of the following areas: embedded systems and computer architecture, digital system design and synthesis, Systems-on-Chip (SoC), programmable and adaptive architectures, Internet of Things (IoT), and/or machine learning. The successful candidate is expected to develop industry collaborations with a focus on applied research. Other responsibilities include advising students, directing student projects, and participating in continuous professional development, as well as other departmental and institutional service activities. Required: PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Preferred: Professional Engineering licensure; Relevant industry experience; and Track record or evidence of academic potential.
