Assistant/Associate/Full Professor and Specialty Director

The University of Maryland School of Nursing is seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate/ or Full Professor to lead the Nurse Anesthesia specialty and participate in the education for CRNA students, in the department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health. This position will focus on delivering consistent, high quality course content to CRNA students, and to meet the need for doctoral preparation.

Essential Functions:

• Performing leadership and management functions for the CRNA specialty
• Develop, organize teach and evaluate advanced practice courses and precepted practicum experiences
• Advise and mentor students
• Participate in a program of scholarship
• Contribute to faculty governance

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD or DNP) and CRNA credential
• MS in nursing
• Current RN license to practice in the stte of Maryland
• Leadership/managment experience is preferred
• Teaching experience and CRNA practice experience is preferred
