Cinema, Television and Media Production - Temp Faculty
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,300 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Cinema, Television and Media Production at Kutztown University invites applications for a part time temporary faculty position for Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022. Courses taught may include Graphics for Television, Post-Production, Narrative Video Production, Scriptwriting and/or Media Theory & Aesthetics. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth and professional development; and service. Required: Significant industry-related experience, college-level teaching experience, and a master's degree in a related field. Preferred: MFA and/or Ph.D. in a related field. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve is required. Proficiency in digital-cine cameras for video production, post-production, and motion graphics is required.
