About the Opportunity:
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities include initiating, conducting, and completing research in theoretical condensed matter physics. Also, preparing and writing research papers and scientific presentations. Some mentoring of junior researchers, such as graduate students as well.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics. Must have familiarity with the fundamentals of the quantum properties of solids, such as band theory, magnetism, optical and transport behaviors, and collective phenomena such as phonons, magnons, and superconductivity. Candidate must have some familiarity with both analytical and computational approaches to studying such behaviors.

PhD in Physics
