Summary

Seeking early-career nephrologist and aspiring physician-scientist to join our team of clinical research faculty. This position will include serving the kidney health care needs of the diverse population of Harris County and of our veterans at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center and affiliated facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Clinical activities at Harris Health will include inpatient services at the Ben Taub General Hospital as well as outpatient care in the ambulatory settings of Smith Clinic, Thomas Street Clinic, and Riverside Dialysis. Research activities will include patient-centered research in the same populations as well as other sources with the explicit objective to garner extramural grant funding.

Job Qualifications:

The successful applicant is expected to be passionate about participating in the medical education and clinical teaching activities of Baylor College of Medicine. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
