The Department of Athletics, University of Alabama is seeking an Assistant Coach – Women’s Tennis. The Assistant Coach for Women’s Tennis is responsible for assisting in the development and overall strategy for Women’s Tennis. This includes evaluating, recruiting, training, conditioning, instructing, supervising, disciplining, and coaching student-athletes to prepare them to compete successfully against major college competition at the highest level. Job duties include: evaluating, recruiting, training, conditioning, instructing, supervising, disciplining, and coaching student-athletes to prepare them to compete successfully against major college competition in a quality program; such other duties as assigned by the Head Coach that are germane to the Employee's position and the University's mission; other general duties as set out in the Employee’s Contract, including duties to understand and comply with all Governing Athletic Rules and University Rules; assisting with budgeting, scheduling, travel and hotel logistics and booking practice courts; and maintaining equipment inventory and ordering as necessary. 

To be eligible, applicants must have a must have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Management or related field and at least two years of collegiate and/or international coaching and recruiting experience at the NCAA Division I level or equivalent national level.
