Salary and Benefits

This position is in salary grade 623, with a minimum starting salary of $85,188 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.

Location of position is negotiable upon offer.

General Description

Provide visionary leadership and direction for the academic program of Information Technology at the college. Responsible for development and oversight for program curriculum, supervision of program faculty, oversight of academic IT program projects, and grant discovery and implementation opportunities. This is accomplished by staying up-to-date on IT innovations and trends, serving on college committees, building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, participating in professional development activities, and performing all director and instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.

Qualifications: Education

An Associate’s Degree in a related field required; a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Qualification: Experience

A minimum of four years of professional IT experience or related field required. Any software certifications or IT industry certifications preferred.

Qualification: Skills

Requires advanced written and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in teams. This position is responsible for the IT program review and program development as well as preparation of the departmental budget and is authorized to approve the fiscal/budgeted expenditures. Fund raising and grant work are an essential work in conjunction with the college foundation.
