Salary and Benefits
This position is in Administrative Salary Grade II, with a minimum starting salary of $88,967 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.

General Description
The purpose of this position is to provide visionary leadership and administrative oversight for educational programs of study in Science, Information Technology (IT), Agriculture, and Math and is charged with the planning, budgeting and operational management of the division. The position reports to and is a key advisor to the Vice President of Educational Services. This is accomplished by providing oversight of curriculum areas and provides impetus for change/expansion; hiring properly credentialed faculty and staff; oversee divisional planning; monitor and plan division budgets, provide direction for assessment of student learning; and articulation of courses and programs with other colleges and agencies.
Qualifications: Education
Masters degree required.
Preferably in the areas of educational leadership, administration,
or other related field.
Qualification: Experience
A combination of at least three years experience in teaching and administration, preferably at the post-secondary level.
Qualification: Skills
Requires advanced written and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in teams; requires managing and monitoring work performance of an Academic Division including hiring/disciplinary actions performance evaluations and assigning workload. This position is responsible for program review and new program development as well as preparation of departmental budgets and is authorized to approve fiscal/budgeted expenditures. Fund raising and grant work are an essential work in conjunction with the college foundation.
