The Japanese program in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston invites applications for a lecturer teaching a course in the Japanese language sequence for the 2021-22 academic year. The program offers first and second-year instruction in the Japanese language.

Qualifications :
A master's degree and experience teaching Japanese at the college level is required. Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese and English required. While we expect that instruction will be face-to-face this fall, experience with online teaching is desirable. This position is contingent upon enrollment and funding.
