Senior Director, Graduate Career Center

About Northeastern:
Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-driven lifelong learning. Our world-renowned experiential approach empowers our students, faculty, alumni, and partners to create impact far beyond the confines of discipline, degree, and campus.

Our locations—in Boston; Charlotte, North Carolina; London; Portland, Maine; San Francisco; Seattle; Silicon Valley; Toronto; Vancouver; and the Massachusetts communities of Burlington and Nahant—are nodes in our growing global university system. Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
Founded in 1922, the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. At the undergraduate level, both the BS in Business Administration and the BS in International Business programs offer students the opportunity to develop into highly motivated business leaders. Graduate students and corporate learners can choose from several different certificate and full-time and part-time MBA and MS programs designed to enable motivated professionals to accelerate their success in business. The school is committed to embedding a global mindset into all of these programs, as well as in its research and outreach activities.

Responsibilities:
D'Amore-McKim has a deep and expanding portfolio of corporate partners and students. Our corporate partners provide a multitude of opportunities for students across the portfolio. These opportunities directly impact and improve the education we offer our students. Beyond in-classroom, and campus-based activities, our corporate partners are working with our programs to provide practical, and timely engagements for students to apply their academics in corporate and virtual settings. These relationships are integral to our success and crucial to our ability to leverage our signature differentiation - experience-based learning. Creating the community to connect corporate partners to the academic, and programs team is the Senior Director of the Graduate Career Center. The Senior Director of the Graduate Career Center at D'Amore-McKim School of Business is the key to building, growing and nurturing these relationships, as well as overseeing the management of the career-management, coaching and advising for students. Working closely with the coaching/advising team as well as our corporate partners is critical in keeping D'Amore-McKim's graduate program aligned with the changing needs of employers. Being a liaison between our employer community and our academic community leads to the creation of programs designed to address the needs of our corporate partners. This is a critical differentiator for D'Amore-McKim and supports our mission to educate leaders and thinkers to be prepared for the future of work in a world being shaped by digital convergence.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred. Minimum of 12 years of professional work experience in higher education or industry experience is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in corporate relations, business development, and/or career management and coaching.
