The Institute for Korean Studies at Indiana University announces a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Korean Social Sciences to begin August 2021. Applicants in the following disciplines are welcome to apply: anthropology, economics, sociology, and political science. The post-doctoral fellow will be expected to teach one course per year for the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures (including significant coverage of North Korean issues), and present his or her research once as part of the Institute for Korean Studies colloquium series. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in hand by date of appointment. Final award and hiring of a finalist candidate for this position is dependent upon the successful award of external grant-based funding.
