Computer Science – 1-Year Assistant in Instruction

Middlebury College invites applications for a 1-year Assistant in Instruction position in computer science, beginning in Fall 2021. A B.A. or B.S. degree in computer science or a related discipline is required. The appointment will be made for 11 months. Responsibilities include teaching lab sections, holding tutoring sessions, coordinating student TAs, assisting faculty with course and lab preparation and grading, and system administration support. Knowledge of the Middlebury College computer science major is beneficial. Ability to work with students, both in the classroom and individually, is essential.
