PT Rodeo Team Timed Events Coach : Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for the position of PT Rodeo Team Timed Events Coach in McCook. This person will: oversee all aspects of timed events for the rodeo team including recruitment, practice plans, strategy, and strength training. Successful applicants should possess high quality coaching techniques including demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, a commitment to success in the classroom, and the ability to interact with the community. Associate degree preferred, rodeo coaching at the high school or college level preferred.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, four community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.

Qualifications:

We need a positive, strategic, team building individual who can manage student athletes, plan practices, and travel, and execute effective game strategy, as well as recruit strong student athletes and have a significant presence in the community. Associate Degree preferred, while a combination of coaching and work experience is recommended. Applicants should have a passion for developing student athletes in and out of the arena and promote a strong foundation for future success.
