BUSAD 40, Business Statistics
Summer Session, 06/1/2021 - 06/25/2021, MTWTH 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM.
Course Modality: 100% Online. Applicant must reside in California.
Introduction to statistical concepts and methods used to assist in making decisions under conditions of uncertainty. Topics include collection and analysis of data, descriptive statistics, sampling, probability theory and probability distributions, estimation, inference, hypothesis testing, correlation analysis and regression modeling. Students will learn how to perform statistical analysis using Excel and R.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A Master’s degree in Statistics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
