Job Summary/Basic Function:
Entry level data analyst position. Individual will write queries to extract data from Banner and data warehouse. Will develop basic visualizations of the data to share with end-users. Will support documentation and process needs as well.


Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or other relevant major
• One year full-time related experience with syntax-driven tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R)


Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of and experience with a spreadsheet application such as Excel or Google Sheets; comfortable with data manipulation and creating basic descriptive analyses
• Adept at queries and presenting findings
• Working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Experience with Tableau
• Experience with SQL data extraction tools (e.g., TOAD, MySQL)
