Additional Schedule Details: Schedule includes varying hours and fluctuating shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime. Due to the nature of emergency services, occasional unplanned overtime is required.

Position Summary:
The telecommunicator will serve as the focal position for all communications within the University's Division of Pubic Safety using in depth knowledge of all university and division functions, operations and geography to assist in protecting the well being of all University facilities, faculty, staff, students and visitors.

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience:
One year of previous related experience or training required.

Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Applicant will be required to attend and successfully complete the Department of Criminal Justice Training Telecommunications Academy. Trainees are required to live in on-campus housing during the training period.
