The
Department of Bioengineering (BIEN) at the University of
California, Riverside invites applications for an Assistant
Professor of Teaching (Lecturer with Potential Security of
Employment LPSOE), beginning the 2021/22 academic year. The
appointment requires evidence of a long-standing record of
exceptional undergraduate teaching, professional achievement, and
service to the academic community. An LPSOE is a member of the
Academic Senate and will be expected to teach undergraduate and
graduate courses, and provide university and public services
related to the undergraduate program including curriculum
development, student advising, ABET accreditation, recruitment
outreach, etc. Applications with strong experience teaching
biomaterials, optical imaging, and tissue engineering are
encouraged to apply.
