Responsibilities:

Based in an online learning environment, course instructors introduce, guide, plan, stimulate, focus, motivate and tie together students' learning processes with a proactive approach. They provide teaching assistance to students both individually and collectively, monitoring their learning over the course of the semester. They address students' doubts, offer examples and further explanations, stimulate debates, encourage participation in forums, and provide personalized feedback to help students' learning processes. Course instructors may also engage in other activities related to the creation of learning resources. English will be the teaching language.

   

Bachelor in Software Development: Programming

Key requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Proven knowledge of the theory of programming formal aspects
  • Excellent knowledge of C and its programming environment
  • Ability to design programming exercises
  • Teaching at the undergraduate level, preferably with computer science students or related fields.
  • Good communication, mathematical, algorithmic and software development skills
  • Ability to work within a team in the cloud and knowledge to use cloud tools
  •  Excellent written and oral English skills (minimum B2 level)

Desired requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in e-learning environments (e.g.: Moodle or any other LMS)
  • English as a native language
  • Professional experience in software development
  • Research in learning/teaching programming
  Bachelor in Software Development: Database usage   Key requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Good knowledge of database management systems, SQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • English at a C1 level.

Desired requirements:
  • Knowledge of no-SQL databases and the JDBC PostgreSQL driver.
  • PhD in Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Teaching experience at a university (undergraduate) level.
  • Experience in distance learning environments (e.g., Moodle, MOOCs)
  • English as a native language.
  • The candidate will need to provide a cover letter in English.
