Pediatric Cardiologist (71426)

The Congenital Heart Center at the University of Florida is recruiting a Pediatric Cardiologist physician, who is fellowship trained in Pediatric Cardiology. The candidate should be board certified or board eligible for their primary specialty. The position includes a faculty appointment of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at the University of Florida. Academic rank will be awarded based upon the career stage and development of the candidate. This position will include call duties on the Pediatric Cardiology team.

Our cardiac center is one of the largest centers in the state of Florida with equal distribution of both surgical and medical patients. We have a large Ventricular assist device program with a busy transplant service. This position will also provide pediatric cardiovascular care education to residents, fellows, medical students and other health care professionals within the cardiovascular/cardiothoracic, pediatric cardiac anesthesiology, pediatric cardiology, and pediatric critical care specialties. There are exceptional opportunities for clinical research.

Required: M.D. or equivalent; board certified or board eligible for their primary specialty (Cardiology or Critical Care).
