Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 503517) (to commence as soon as possible, until December 31, 2021)
The appointee will work in the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (JCECC) under the Faculty of Social Sciences. The project, started in 2016, aims at improving the quality of end-of-life care, enhancing the capacity of service providers, as well as raising public awareness on life and death issues.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Counseling or a related discipline; excellent written and spoken skills in Chinese and English. Experience in undertaking research and training programmes related to End-of-Life Care (EoLC) would be an advantage.
The appointee is expected to involve in volunteer training, data collection, data analysis, report preparation, and to perform other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
