Biology/Environmental Science Faculty
AVAILABLE: Immediately. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, with teaching responsibilities beginning August 2021.
SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a tenure track position.
QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree preferred, ABD near completion will be considered. Position requires experience in biology and environmental science. Candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills and should demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students and with other instructors. Teaching experience, demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are also strongly desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a 9-month position with teaching responsibilities in the Biology and Environmental Science programs. The successful candidate will teach lecture and lab components of Ecology, Zoology, Environmental Science and General Biology. Experience in Aquatic Biology preferred. In addition, the candidate will assist with student recruitment and serve as a research mentor and academic advisor.
