The Department of Surgery, Program in Trauma at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center is recruiting for a critical care intensivist physician.
Candidates must be residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, or Anesthesiology and board certified or its equivalent in critical care. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting. Candidates should possess a wide range of clinical skills in the care of such patients. Expertise in clinical and/or basic research and participation in multidisciplinary research is highly desirable.
Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with tenure status and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
