The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Bucknell University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) faculty position beginning in August 2021 for one academic year (nine months). VAPs teach six credits over the academic year - each lecture section counts as one credit and each lab section counts as half a credit. The expected teaching responsibilities are a second year signals and systems course and two third year electronic devices courses, all with labs, as well as one course to be determined.

While the primary responsibilities are teaching, continued scholarship and collaboration is encouraged. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related field and have demonstrated that they can effectively teach a range of electrical/computer engineering courses to a diverse set of undergraduate students.
