The Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research (https://cnets.indiana.edu/) at
Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering has one
open postdoctoral position on science of science. The appointment
is expected to start in the late Summer of 2021.
The postdoc will join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team that
includes computer, physical, and cognitive scientists. The postdoc
will work with Prof. Santo Fortunato on science of science,
specifically on citation and collaboration patterns between
scientists, impact dynamics, science evolution, novelty.
Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD is required by the start of the appointment, in computing, physical sciences, or a related field; a strong background in analysis and modeling of complex systems and networks; solid programming skills necessary to handle big data and develop large scale simulations.
Experience in science of science projects is a plus.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus generous benefits.
