Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP for Marketing and Communication, the Producer will be responsible for the entire project life cycle of multi-channel advertising creative production. Supervising the day-to-day operations of Willamette University's marketing function, this individual will own the timelines, scopes, scheduling, resourcing and documentation of multi-layered marketing campaigns across all colleges and campuses. Candidates must be able to work independently to help Marcom turn their creative strategies into fully developed traditional and digital ad campaigns
Aside from project management, the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for internal offices, departments and organizations ensuring that Willamette delivers great work that aligns with the office's goals and the goals and brand strategy of the university.
This person will also work closely with cross-functional team members to propose solutions, anticipate needs and maintain transparency across internal communication channels to guarantee the success of all creative projects.

JOB DUTIES:
- Manage the complete project timeline: brief intake, pricing /
scoping, establishing timelines and expectations, routing and
digesting feedback
- Improve workflows to help the team work more
efficiently
- Implement and oversee project management tools
- Keep constant communication with the key stakeholders about
deadlines, deliverables and feedback rounds
- Be accountable for the budget and the financial health of all
projects
- Source and manage freelancers and other partners to scale our
production capabilities
- Vendor management and coordination of digital, broadcast,
print, social communications schedules of outside
vendors
- Serve as an internal point of contact on marketing
campaigns
- Evaluate new projects
- Oversee work schedules for department staff
- Manage departmental accounting and assist with
budgeting
- Proofread and coordinates proofreading of all copy, proofs and
artwork
- Assist with the execution of campaign tactics from digital to
print media
- Assist with analytics and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager or
Operations Manager within a studio team at an ad agency, digital
agency, or in-house marketing team
- Superior organization, problem solving, and written and verbal
communication skills
- Strong knowledge of technology including Google Suite and
project management software
- Experience managing the work of others
- Flexibility and the ability to pivot
- Experience in aiding the development and execution of multiple
complex projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Knowledge of traditional and digital media advertising,
including all ad formats and placements
- Experience in communicating with customers about the status of
the projects, sending reports and handling the feedback
loop
- Cross-functional mindset and experience in working with
multidisciplinary teams
- Have experience working with a pool of freelancers and
reputable contacts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in higher education marketing
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Cascade CMS, Slate, and Sprout

Typical Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Typical work performed indoors in a normal office environment
Large percentage of time spent looking at a computer screen or in meetings
Salary Range:
$90,000 -- $100,000 per year, dependent on experience
