Assistant Professor of Strategy and Management

The University of Houston-Victoria seeks an Assistant Professor (tenure track) of Strategy and Management (Victoria & Katy, Texas) for its School of Business Admin. in the Management Dept. Teach undergraduate & graduate level strategy classes & other management  courses (including capstone strategy courses, strategy & the business environment, international strategy, and leadership) for our AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International & SACSDOC accredited programs. Teaching modalities include online & in person at UHV main campus in Victoria (primarily) & Katy campus. Pursue quality scholarly activity/research in the fields of strategy.  Participate in course & program development; perform university and professional service; work cooperatively with diverse groups; and be sensitive to educational needs of a diverse student population & faculty.

Required: PhD (from an AACSB accredited university) in strategic management or management with coursework in strategic management & leadership. Up to 10% travel to Katy campus. Demonstrated excellence in research & teaching. Criminal history check required.
