The University of Indianapolis is currently seeking one Associate Adjunct in Mathematics beginning August 2021. It is a part-time, partial benefit-eligible position. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional to join a growing university.

Reporting directly to the Chair of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, this faculty position will support the fulfillment of the University's mission, purpose and goals. This position will be annually contracted with the possibility of renewal and responsible for teaching 15 to 21 credit hours.

  • Deliver courses with clear outcomes, meaningful assignments, and transparent, timely assessment
  • Model effective teaching and professionalism
  • Manage inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Attend and participate collaboratively in department and faculty meetings
  • Be flexible and responsive in teaching and conduct weekly office hours


  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Math Education or in a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics is required
  • Experience in teaching college level gateway Mathematics courses is required
  • Ability to teach Elementary Statistics and/or Math Education courses is preferred
