A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available in the Neuroscience/GI Research Group, the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Virginia Commonwealth University to study sensory neuroplasticity and visceral pain with emphasis on signal transduction and underlying molecular mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

Competitive candidates should possess a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree, and have experience in small animal neurobiology and variable research tools of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture, microscopic imaging, and physiology. Successful candidate will join a large, interactive research group with multidisciplinary research settings (http://www.physiology.vcu.edu/research/grg/index.html).
