Lecturer of History

Department History and Philosophy

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for three nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of History positions in the Department of History and Philosophy to begin August 2021.

 

Responsibilities typically include teaching 27 semester credit hours of the undergraduate survey in either US or world history per academic year. Some service to Department/College/University/professional community is expected.

 

Excellence in teaching and engagement is expected of all faculty members in the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KSU. Faculty in the Department teach in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online.

 

A Ph.D. in history or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent is required as well as a record of effective university teaching.

 

Preferred qualifications include: experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses; three or more years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
