The ability to teach French for professional purposes and/or translation would also be an asset. The core responsibilities of this position include teaching six courses per year, three each during the spring and fall terms. Completed Ph.D. in French is required. Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, experience with a variety of technological tools to support language teaching and learning, and a desire to engage with colleagues to develop creative, effective pedagogies, digital and otherwise, are essential. Native or near-native fluency in French is also required. Applications will be considered immediately.
