Assistant Lecturer in Experiential Learning in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 503415) (to commence on August 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Education or a related discipline, a professional teaching qualification, at least 3 years’ post-qualification teaching experience in schools or tertiary institutions, and/or other relevant professional or academic experience. They should have a strong teaching background. Experience in collaborating with NGOs and delivering Experiential Learning programmes would be highly preferable.

The appointee will work under the Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching), making contributions at both the course level and the system level. He/She will be expected to plan and develop Experiential Learning programmes and initiatives for students, conduct orientation sessions and feedback sessions, and undertake site visits. He/She will review existing projects, produce videos to promote Experiential Learning, liaise with NGOs in Hong Kong and overseas, and share research findings. The appointee will also be required to assume administrative responsibilities as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
